Te Bujtina Hotel&Restaurant

The rooms were spotless, modern, and had everything we needed. What stood out most was how warm the staff were, always smiling and genuinely eager to help, so we felt more like family than guests. Breakfast was something to look forward to each morning, with fresh local ingredients and plenty of variety. The hotel is right next to the highway, with an amazing restaurant just below it. The beach is only steps away, whether you’re watching sunrise from the balcony or taking a moonlit walk.

The restaurant was one of the best parts of the stay. The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the traditional Albanian dishes, while breakfast was filling and delicious. I’d suggest eating there at least once. The room was clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning and a mini-fridge. It was quiet enough for relaxing, even though the beach was only a short walk away. Te Bujtina is a family-run place, and that personal touch is clear in the homemade meals and friendly service. In Mali i Robit, Golem, it’s about a 5 minute walk from Qerret Beach and Mali i Robit Beach.

What makes The Bujtina special is the relaxed, honest, family-like atmosphere. The people running it were extremely helpful, including with unusual requests, while still providing professional service. Our room was well equipped and worth the price, but the atmosphere was the most valuable part of the stay. Breakfast was served fresh at the table and was delicious, especially the sweet “petulla” donuts :). It doesn’t feel like a huge, impersonal hotel. This is a genuinely unique experience, and they deserve more publicity.

Parking is available, and the beach is about a 10-minute walk away, but there are better options in the area if you really need to stay here. Traffic from the nearby highway can be heard day and night, and I couldn’t sleep without earplugs. The room was quite small and cheaply furnished, while the tiny bathroom was uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn’t buffet style, so you received whatever they presented. I’m honestly surprised by the many 5-star reviews.
