Amphora Guesthouse

We felt welcome at the accommodation, while still having privacy whenever we wanted it. The setting is beautiful and quiet, away from the tourist bustle, with a fantastic view, cool furnishings, and an unusually comfortable bed. The large shower was good, and the bathroom ventilation worked well. The hosts gave us useful information beforehand, helpful trip tips, and a super breakfast. A nice dog was there too. Pickup from the car park happened as agreed. Free parking is only a few metres away, so a rental car is a good idea. Air conditioning is available, and the room WiFi works with a signal that varies.

The location is perfect, and both the house and rooms are beautiful. Fredrika was very helpful, sharing restaurant and beach suggestions. She also offers beach towels to guests who don’t have one, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it.

Himare’s old historic town is peaceful and beautiful, and the guesthouse was a lovely base for enjoying it. Our room was clean and very cozy, with a fantastic sea view. Fredrika was a wonderful host, and the breakfast was delicious. We had a great time and can highly recommend the place.

The penthouse apartment looks out over both the sea and mountains, with goats, sheeps, donkeys, and a scenic view of Livadi beach around it. Amphora guesthouse is also well placed for exploring the Albanian riviera, including Qeparo, Himare, Vuno, Dhermi, and Llogara pass. Oresti was a lovely host, and small dog Pablo made the stay even more memorable. We enjoyed the breakfast with selfmade lemon marmelade, fresh fruits, and vegetables.
