This felt like real luxury in nature, with flowers, birds, fresh vegetables, and the sounds of the garden all around. The open-style kitchen has a barbacue, and there’s also a stray cat family that we enjoyed petting and feeding. The owner is incredibly kind and deserves 10 stars. He serves coffee and cake every morning, making this a wonderfully cozy place to relax during a holiday.

The owner personally looks after the beautiful garden and really shows what Albanian hospitality can be. He is super friendly, and the location is both quiet and lovely. There’s also a very good kitchen where guests can cook for themselves. One of the best places to stay in Himara.

Holiwood is a peaceful place in the hills above Himarë, with spacious rooms that include air con, a fridge, TV, and a good shower with plenty of hot water. Each room also has its own outdoor seating area, and the WiFi is fast. The all fresco cooking and dining area has beautiful sea views, while the kitchen is fully set up for guests to cook. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and always available. Free coffee and homemade cake are provided in the morning. Thank you for making our stay so perfect.

The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, and the complimentary breakfast, especially the cake, was delicious. The location gives you easy access to the city’s amenities and attractions while still feeling calm and removed from the urban core. The only drawback is the short unpaved stretch of road leading to the apartments. It’s very small, and the owners already plan to pave it in the near future. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional, and this is without a doubt the best place I’ve stayed in Albania.
