We booked Velco because it looked inexpensive, then loved it enough to extend our stay twice. Alex is a great host, the staff are lovely, and both breakfast and dinner were incredible. Book a seaview room if you can, the view is so nice to wake up to. Can’t recommend it enough!

The rooms are comfortable, and having a balcony was a lovely bonus. The restaurant is incredible too, so do check it out even if you aren’t staying at Velco. This bed and breakfast is run by the kindest locals, with such warm hospitality. They even arranged for the bus to pick me up at the hotel.

We spent one night here with friends and had dinner at this lovely tavern in a beautiful village. The grilled fish and lamb were exquisite, and breakfast was tasty and typical. Our room and bathroom were very clean, with a powerful phon, several mirrors, and even a drying rack outside. The staff were so cordial, and we had such an interesting conversation. Definitely recommend it.

The food was the best we tried in Himara, and the service was excellent. Velco BB Himara was a fantastic place to stay, with an ideal location and clean, very comfortable rooms. Everything was perfect, and I definitely recommend it.
