We booked four nights but left after just one because sleep was impossible. At 3AM, we could clearly hear the couple next door having sex, and there seemed to be no soundproofing at all. The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, with nails sticking out that felt unsafe. The advertised “sea view” was misleading. From the side, you could see only a small corner of the sea, not a proper view. There was no hot water either. We reported it and were told to wait half an hour, but nothing changed. The owner refused a proper refund and returned only €100, about 1/6 of what we paid. He said the noise was not their problem, then marked our reservation as a “no show,” even though we have photos proving we were there. The photos also show the nail in the bed, risky cable connections, and a torn shower head. The place may look nice in pictures, but it wasn’t comfortable or suitable for a proper stay. Never coming back.

The location takes some effort: it isn’t really beachfront as advertised, and you have to walk a short way to reach the beach. It’s not buggy-friendly, and the downhill walk can feel unsafe, especially on foot. Getting back up is quite a challenge without a car, so expect a climb. Mira Mare is clean and reasonably well maintained, with fresh rooms and a quiet atmosphere. It does its job as a simple three-star stay. The staff’s friendliness felt a little forced rather than genuine, which affected the overall vibe. If you don’t mind the uphill walk, it’s still a solid option.

The rooms are a bit tiny, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The jacuzzi worked well, with nice lights and a radio function. The location is perfect and close to everything. The only downside I can think of is the walk upstairs to reception, though you get used to it.

The location is great, but the first-floor rooms have one issue that keeps me from recommending the hotel. People can switch on the hallway lights, and the light then pours into the room through the window above the door. There are no curtains or blinds to block it, and it lights up the room as if the lights were on inside. Bring eye covers or a sleep mask. I can’t speak for the rooms on the second floor or higher. The room was clean and decent, and the workers were really nice. Hotel Mira mare was awesome, close to the beach and lots of cafes.
