My favourite stay in Albania. It was peaceful and relaxing, with three of Ksamil’s nicest beaches just a minute’s walk away.

I first stayed here in 2018 while hitchhiking, and I’ve since recommended it to friends visiting Albania. The owners were kind and attentive, and it’s a good spot to unwind. The country houses have a quaint feel, so don’t expect a resort. If you’re after a little taste of everyday life, I’d recommend it.

We loved the peaceful natural setting, with the sea, goats, friendly dogs, and sometimes cats around. The apartments are small but nice, with a big patio and garden, and everything was clean. Our hosts were so friendly. We’d happily come back.

The hosts are really friendly and helpful, and you can have a BBQ there without any trouble. This is a great way to experience Albanian nature and culture, so don’t get put off by plain hotel rooms. Just come and enjoy ❤️🖤

It’s a cheap option for a trip to Ksamil, and there are beaches just five minutes from the house. The tradeoff is the location: it’s outside the center, about a 35-40 minute walk there. It’s also set within a farm, so the owner and other people live very close by, and chickens may wake you at 6 am. I think it’s worth considering for the price.
