Vila Iliria

The staff and owner were so welcoming and helped us choose restaurants and things to do. Our September stay at Illyrian hotel was wonderful: the rooms were spotless, the views were lovely, and the modern hotel was beautiful. The service was top-notch. We'd gladly come back. Thank you for making the trip so nice!

On checkout morning, our car battery had gone flat. The owner called a friend over with jumper cables, which saved the day. The hotel itself is new, modern, and clean, and it's only a short walk from Lori beach, my favorite of the Ksamil beaches. The best restaurants are under 15 minutes away on foot. A rooftop restaurant is planned, and the area seems to be getting busier, so the place should only improve.

Just a three-minute walk from Lori beach, and the service was great. The rooms were clean and lovely, and the staff were pleasant. The hotel was otherwise perfect for us, though it still needs an elevator and a restaurant.

The beach is conveniently close, about a five-minute walk, but the stay fell short of what we expected. Nobody was there when we arrived, and another guest said there was no reception. A man eventually came, but he didn't speak English. He handed us a key to a ground-floor apartment, despite our booking for a deluxe room with a balcony and sea view. The owner said by phone that all the other rooms were full. We were allowed to use the upstairs terrace, which also had a sea view, but that wasn't the same for me, and there was nothing to be done. We stayed three nights. The bed wasn't very comfortable, the bathroom was tiny and the shower soaked everything, and we had one large and one small towel for all three days. The room wasn't cleaned. The woman who runs the place was friendly, but the overall experience could have been much better.
