I was travelling by bus toward Tirana and stopped here, which turned into a great first experience in Albania. The buffet food was good, and the hospitality really stood out. I hadn’t realized the place only accepted cash, but instead of making me put the food back, the staff kindly let me eat anyway. They genuinely seem to care about people passing through. Thanks.

The outside seating has a beautiful view, and the dining area looked clean. The staff were friendly, some of them spoke English, and the toilets were free to use. For 30€, six of us got food and soft drinks, so it works if you mainly want something cheap and don’t mind it being cold or possibly bland. The food itself was a different story. Everything served to our group of six was cold. I chose rice with rice-filled bell peppers, but the rice was both crunchy in places and very mushy in others, with almost no seasoning. It’s a buffet with several dishes to choose from, though I wouldn’t recommend it for the food. This was only a dinner stop during a road trip through the country.

We stopped for a quick lunch before heading to Greece, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The service was very poor, while the prices were high. Paying 1000 leke for three meatballs and rice that wasn’t cooked properly was really disappointing. 🤬🤬

A good place to stop when travelling from Saranda north toward Tirana. The traditional food was nice, the drinks were cold, and the coffee was great too. We also received lovely hospitality, and one of the staff members spoke English. Perfect for a stopover.
