Melia Durres Albania

Natasha and Fitore from housekeeping made a real difference during our stay at Melia Hotel in Gjiri i Lalëzit. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely caring, and their effort helped make the visit feel special. The rooms were large, stylish, and completely spotless throughout. Food quality, especially some of the ingredients, could be improved a little, but that was only a small issue in an otherwise memorable stay. We will definitely come back.

The most impressive part of our stay at Meliá Durrës Albania was how comfortable everything felt for our family. The staff, from reception and concierge to the restaurant, bar, and housekeeping teams, were warm and especially kind to our children. The resort was spotless, including the glasses, cutlery, bathrooms, towels, and dressing rooms. The pool was crystal clear, the rooms were high-tech, and the views of the beach, outdoor pool, and sports bar were exceptional. The spa was flawless, and the daily activities kept things from ever feeling dull. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and the buffet had a huge variety. Restaurant staff regularly checked that we were comfortable, and if something wasn't available, we could ask for it. The kids' club is available for children aged 5 and above, while children aged 1-5 must be supervised by a parent or another adult. We felt comfortable leaving the older children there because the staff were attentive and safety-conscious. We also had a wonderful experience at DUKA Winery & Vineyard, learning how the wine is made from beginning to end. Lunch was on DUKA, and we enjoyed a boat trip too. A cab was arranged from the resort to the winery, so the whole outing was easy. The people there were welcoming and caring. The concierge also recommended the rooftop, which had a breathtaking view and was a lovely place to relax. I was so happy with the experience that I genuinely couldn't find fault with anything.

The Saint Valentine's Gala Night was a highlight of our stay at Meliá Durrës Albania. The elegant décor, romantic atmosphere, delicious food, and stylish presentation made the celebration feel truly special. The housekeeping team also stood out. Our rooms were refreshed carefully every day and kept spotless, while the staff showed real kindness and attention to detail. Reception was always helpful and welcoming, and the restaurant waiters were professional and attentive. From the warm greeting at arrival to the consistent care throughout the hotel, the service was impressive. Meliá Durrës exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it. I look forward to returning.
