Pogradeci Hotel

The live music in the afternoon was a highlight. A singer named Ari, very good guy it looks like italian, performed beautiful songs from central Albania. I also enjoyed the pizza and local beer, but the meatballs were quite disappointing, so I wouldn't recommend them. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The bed was soft and the bed linen was clean, which was the only good part. The hotel itself is old and neglected. The toilet seat in the room wasn't fitted in place and was disassembled, while the bathroom cabinet wood was rotten. Although breakfast was included, black tea and coffee cost extra. The entrance is on a side street rather than the main street, and the car park is small and awkward. Even in the lake-view room, the sky was only partly visible from the side balcony. For this service and quality, the price performance is very high.

The air conditioning wasn't working, and the staff showed no interest in repairing it or offering another option. The room at Hotel Pogradeci 1 was well below expectations, with stained bed sheets and a bathroom that looked as though it hadn't been properly cleaned for quite some time.

The live music made dinner even better, and the service was highly professional. The waiters paid close attention to every movement of my head. Koran fish was impeccable, the wine was elegant and served at the right temperature, and the grilled vegetables were freshly prepared. The bill was higher than average because I was served fish from the lake, Koran fish, which they are very proud of. You pay in cash. I loved everything and would happily return.
