Hotel Zhironi

The beach was calm, crystal clear, and never crowded, so it was perfect for relaxing. We also really enjoyed the food, especially the fresh, delicious breakfast with its beautiful sea view. It all tasted homemade and high quality. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The food arrived very quickly and tasted delicious. Our sea-view room was even better than what we've seen in Mykonos or Santorini, but at one-tenth of the price. I'd visit every year.

We had a romantic sea-view room on the second floor, while my in-laws stayed in a room with a view on the first floor. The newly renovated hotel is suitable for all ages, including children. The beach area has cabanas and a convenient beach bar, and music played there throughout the day. Our balcony had a cute table and chairs, which was lovely at night. Downstairs, the restaurant offered different cheese plates and tasty seafood, with a bar stocked with whatever you might want. The owners were extremely friendly and helped us find things we needed, from hospitals and the city center to good restaurants. The view, food, beach, and atmosphere made this a beautiful experience. I recommend it 100% and will return.

The room had an amazing view, breakfast and beach access were included in the $50 nightly price, and the restaurant food was good, although the small menu offered limited choice. Unfortunately, the service and the way the booking was handled became a serious problem. There was no receptionist or normal room service. To have the room cleaned, we had to find the cleaning lady ourselves. Payment had to be handed directly to the owner, who didn't give a receipt unless asked. When he finally did, it said we had paid $35 per night, which was strange. In the restaurant, the waiter took our order and brought the food but didn't check whether we needed anything. We had to call him or go to the desk for the bill. We had repeatedly told the owner that we were staying Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, paying one day at a time. On Saturday morning, after three hours without rain, my husband slipped on the wet floor, fell down the stairs, and badly hurt his back. The waiter saw it but didn't ask if we were all right or whether we needed a hospital. While we were in the room treating his bruises, the owner knocked. Rather than checking on us, he said he had forgotten that Saturday's room had been reserved three months earlier and that we had to leave within 20 minutes. I explained that my husband was injured and that we had booked three nights, which he had written in his register. He replied ironically, "But your husband is not going to stay here for 10 days since he is injured, isn't he?" I believe he wanted the room for another family and chose to remove us instead of turning them away. We packed up and left. I wouldn't return or recommend this hotel to anyone, and I would give it no stars if that were possible.
