Mazarine Hotel

This was my second stay, and the service was great again. The staff are amazing, while the hotel is clean, quiet, and close to the seaside. Towels are provided every day for both the pool and beach. The restaurant is excellent, and the beach bar is very convenient and well equipped with amenities.

The breakfast was very good, and the staff were genuinely nice. Parking was good, although it was outside, and the beach had loungers and drinks available. I liked the coffee pods in the room, the comfortable beds, and the bathroom and shower. It was also quieter than areas farther north. There are drawbacks, especially outside peak season, when there aren’t many places to eat nearby. The hotel restaurant was poor in quality, bland, and overpriced. We had cold pasta with pieces of shell in it, a tasteless salad made mostly of iceberg lettuce, and entrees using cheap ingredients for too much money. Some back rooms overlook the car park, despite still being very expensive. There was also shoddy building work, including walls with broken plaster. Drinks from the beach bar couldn’t be charged to the room, which is annoying for a luxury hotel. The beach itself is a small area surrounded by construction, so it isn’t particularly picturesque. For what it offers, the hotel feels overpriced. The positive reviews may be connected to its newness and attractive pool, but the overall vibe didn’t feel quite right.

The staff were polite and very helpful, and everything we ate and drank was amazing. The location is great, the hotel is very clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. We had one of our best nights’ sleep here. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this new hotel. The pool and restaurant are both nice, and there’s a private beach bar across the road. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the main town, so you do need to drive. Taxis cost around €15 each way. For me, the restaurant menu was fabulous, though there wasn’t much choice for children. It’s fine with kids, but the style feels more adult-oriented, which seems common in this area.
