Bella Vista Hotel

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast is generous and tasty. Hotel Bella Vista is clean and comfortable, with modern, well-equipped rooms, many with balconies and lovely sea views. It’s close to the beach and promenade, a handy base for exploring the Albanian Riviera. A few guests mention light traffic noise or breakfast getting repetitive on longer stays. Good value overall, and I’d recommend it for a short getaway or a longer holiday.

The calm, well-kept atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the services went beyond what we expected. A wonderful stay, we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, relaxing experience.

April felt like low season even though it was Easter, and the price we paid was a bargain. Still, I wouldn’t stay here again unless they improve a few key things. On two of our four mornings the water didn’t warm up. I mentioned it at reception on the first day, but by checkout on the last day I’d stopped asking and took a cold shower. On the third morning, around 7, I had to go to reception because the toilet paper hadn’t been replenished the day before. There was plenty of breakfast food, but I personally didn’t like most of it. The fried eggs and crepe were okay, but I don’t remember much else being repeated. The people seemed good, but with other hotels being built nearby, they’ll fall behind if they don’t improve. If I were them, I’d work on the standards ASAP. It’s advertised as a 4-star hotel, but didn’t feel like even 3.

The location is perfect, about a 5-minute walk to the beach. Rooms are clean and reasonably priced, breakfast has lots of variety and is very good, and the staff are really nice and helpful.
