Eval Hotel Sarande

Danni made sure we had what we needed each day, and when we had to leave at 5 a.m. for Germany, he arranged a spacious taxi. Everything was organized, and we got home safely. The owner and all the staff were warm and attentive throughout our unforgettable week at Eval Hotel in Saranda. We had two suites, one for four of us, two adults and two children, and another for three adults. We felt at home, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. As women, my sisters, cousins, and I especially valued feeling safe, comfortable, respected, and well looked after. Thank you for making our vacation one to remember. The staff were super kind, and the cleaning was impeccable. The location does have drawbacks: there’s no parking, and the hotel is a few kilometers from the town area with its restaurants, boat trips, and public beach. Breakfast wasn’t bad because of the taste, but it was the same dish every day, so I skipped it for a few days. There’s no parking here either.

The location made it easy to get to different attractions, and the food and service at meals were excellent. My room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had luxurious amenities. From arrival onward, the staff were attentive and so friendly that I felt welcome right away. I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel for its service and luxury.

The main letdown was breakfast: the choices were very limited, the same things came out every day, and I couldn’t understand why espresso cost extra. Parking is another issue, since Eval Hotel has none and finding a free spot nearby is a real mess. You’ll still need a car to get to downtown restaurants and bars. That said, the staff are kind, welcoming, and willing to speak several languages. My ground-floor room was comfortable, with a clean, decent bathroom, though street noise and the A/C motor made it a bit noisy. Rooms vary quite a bit by floor, and mine was good but nothing special. Eval Hotel is still a worthwhile place to stay in Sarande.
