The restaurant took some of the shine off an otherwise beautiful hotel right by the seashore, where you can watch the horizon over your morning coffee. We tried the soup and salads and weren't impressed, so after that coffee felt like the safe choice. Breakfasts were a firm three out of five. The hotel itself deserves five stars, but I can only give four because of the housekeeping. At 7:30 a.m., while the sea was still calm and we should've been sleeping, furniture scraping across the lobby floor woke us. Cleanliness matters, but so does rest. When we arrived, the bed linen was stained. I asked for a change and was told, “we don’t change bed linen for guests.” The housekeeper kindly made an exception in the end, and I paid her privately for it. I'm very grateful to her.

My friend and I stayed here for 6 days in May 2025, and we loved it. We felt very safe as two younger women traveling alone. The location is lovely, behind a small, very quiet beach, with bus stops, taxis, and boats all around the island, so the area is well connected. We think the people who own the hotel were so welcoming. We looked forward to coming back each day to catch up with them about what we'd done. The rooms were cleaned every day, and the coffee and tea were replenished too.

The beach setup made it easy to switch off, with comfortable sunbeds and service close by whenever we needed something. We also ate really well, from fresh seafood to fast food, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. Everything felt clean and cared for, and the rooms were spotless. The hotel has a modern, welcoming feel. I had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone after a relaxing break.

The one drawback was the hotel's beach, which doesn't seem suitable for children. Luckily, the public beach is only a short walk away and works really well for them. The hotel itself was among the cleanest I've stayed in, from the room to the grounds. Lovely setting with a fantastic sea view, a good range at breakfast, and staff who were always smiling. If you're coming to Saranda, I warmly recommend hotel Delfini!
