Julia Hotel

The hotel is only a stone’s throw from the beach, with a clean, inviting pool area. Our room was basic but had everything we needed and was very clean. The staff were lovely and helpful, breakfast was nice, and the coffee was great. It’s about a five-minute walk to the central part of sarande, where there are bars and restaurants and a lovely chilled vibe. There’s a little shop right opposite, plus a slightly bigger one two minutes away for basic supplies. The Elvis bar is a must on Saturday night. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back.

We couldn’t find a taxi, so the manager gave us a lift to the port. The whole reception team were lovely, attentive and friendly. It’s only a few minutes on foot to the beach and seafront, while the port is a 20-minute walk away. The rooms were clean, and the rooftop views from the breakfast and bar area are beautiful. Breakfast didn’t have much choice for us since we couldn’t eat eggs or gluten. To be fair, we couldn’t find anywhere in Albania that catered for gluten-free or dairy-free diets. The pool looked clean, but we didn’t try it because it was shaded for most of our stay. I can imagine it would be lovely in high season. This little hotel is a gem. I’d definitely recommend it.

Great value and very clean, with a central location that’s a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. The little pool has comfy sun loungers, and the AC is nice and quiet. Highly recommended.

The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast and service were great too. There’s a loud rooster at night, but somehow that adds to the authentic feel. Splendid hotel.
