Hotel Mercury Saranda

I didn’t stay at the hotel, thankfully, but I did use the beach and pool. The pool was filthy and full of hair. After my body started itching a day later, we chose somewhere else for the rest of the trip. We also ate there. The staff seemed off, and we had to remind them to take our order after giving us a menu, then follow up when food hadn’t arrived. The food was just okay. To the manager: please take the bad responses as useful feedback and work on improving things, instead of blaming people who share their opinions and calling everyone liars.

I only came to the beach, not the hotel. Two sunbeds and an umbrella cost 10€, which seemed fair. The broken speakers playing loud music were the downside.

There was no service from the staff, and the pool was disgusting, with hair all through it. My son came away with several rashes after swimming. The owner should take the criticism seriously instead of getting defensive in response to every comment.

A terrible experience in sarranda. I found strange insects in the room and bed, and when I asked to move, the man at the hotel said it wasn’t possible because it was full. I didn’t believe that, since there were three Cars in the parking area and not many people around. When I explained my concern, he became aggressive and put my girlfriend and me out. He never returned my money, so I had to pay for another hotel, saranda international, which was really good. The hotel has beach access, but the beach area is wrecked and looks like trash. I found the place dirty and felt they took my money without caring about cleanliness. I’ll never go back. If you don’t care about your health, go ahead; otherwise, run away.
