The rooftop terrace is lovely for breakfast, and the hotel is just opposite the public beach. There are plenty of restaurants and ATMs close by, and a minimarket a couple of minutes away. The port is also within walking distance. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. The cleaners were honest, so we felt fine leaving things out in the room. Breakfast included cereal, bread, cheese, ham, tomatoes, cucumber and cake. Highly recommend.

Marietta was a darling, and the staff were all wonderfully friendly and helpful. Our sheets and towels were changed more often than necessary, and everything was scrupulously clean. They dealt with a couple of problems straight away, and there was loads of hot water. The breakfast selection was amazing, served on a beautiful roof terrace. I don’t think we could have had better even at a five-star hotel. The hotel is right on the front with amazing views. Heartily recommended.

This was our second stay. Last year, water dripped from the bathroom ceiling, but I let it go because things like that can happen. This time, in 2022, it was really bad and ruined my whole weekend. We checked in around 8pm on Saturday. At first the room seemed fine, but after bringing our things in we noticed the entrance and bathroom lights didn’t work. We went down to report it, and they sent a handyman to change the bulbs. That didn’t help, but they still refused to call an electrician. We had to shower and get ready using our phone flashlights. When I told the receptionist I hadn’t expected these problems from a hotel costing €60/night, she said I could leave if I didn’t like it instead of trying to help. In a normal world, I’d at least expect an apology. It felt very unprofessional, and I realized there was no point discussing it further. The main issues were awful, unprofessional customer service, electrical safety problems with both the lights and outlets, and poor cleanliness. I wouldn’t recommend it. There are many other hotels around at the same price or much better.
