Prishtina Hotel Sarande

The team were incredibly attentive and accommodating, even with our large group. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beach is less than 10 minutes away. I'd absolutely stay here again.

We rented a car from NOAH Car Rental (Rruga Butrinti) at the Hotel Prishtina building, and the experience was very disappointing. The price changed from €40/day when we first asked to €50 the next evening. They then refused to rent to us because the English-speaking staff member wasn't available late in the day. The following morning they agreed to €40/day, but added a €5 card “commission.” Most Visa card fees are around 1-3%, not 12.5%. Our travel credit card insurance didn't apply, and they didn't offer insurance either. The car, an old Citroën C3 Pluriel from around 2003-2005, was heavily scratched and felt poorly maintained. Its roof wouldn't open, the trunk couldn't be used, and one seat couldn't be adjusted properly. Fuel was the biggest problem when we returned it. The gauge dropped to one bar just after we left the shop. Before bringing it back, we filled it with diesel, spending about €15 plus tips, and provided the receipts. That was more than enough for our short day trip to Ksamil and back. Still, they said the gauge showed one bar instead of two, dismissed the receipts and any logic about the distance, and demanded another €10. Paying by card again would have cost another €5. We were forced to hand over an extra 10€ for nothing. It's not about the money, but it felt like they were taking full advantage of us. The business isn't clearly marked on Google Maps, likely not by accident. The shop combines exchange, tours, bikes, and other services, and lacks the professionalism I'd expect from a car rental company. The prices kept shifting, the card fees were high, and the fuel policy felt unfair and ignored our receipts. The car was very old and unreliable, with unclear terms and little transparency or professionalism. I'd strongly recommend renting elsewhere in Sarandë, where staff care about customers, terms are clearer, and cars are properly maintained.

The property feels outdated. We returned from a wedding party at around 2 am and realized there was no pillow in the bedroom. We hadn't noticed earlier at check-in. I told the man at reception, but he wouldn't help, saying it was too late to get one and making other excuses.

Modern, clean, and very comfortable. Everything was perfect, highly recommended.
