The rooms are spacious and the balcony has a nice lake view. You'll need a car, though there is a great restaurant nearby and lovely sunset views. I heard a few noises during the night, but couldn't tell whether they came from residents or other guests, so light sleepers may notice them.

A lovely villa with clean rooms, friendly people, and even a cute house cat. There's a barbecue spot in the garden, and you can see both the lake and the sea. It's close to three beaches and just a 3-minute drive from ksamili. I suggested adding a swimming pool next year. Let's hope they do it.

I had a fantastic stay at Merka Guesthouse. The staff made me feel very welcome, and my room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and had top-notch amenities. Highly recommended!

The owners were polite and helpful, and the guest house is in a really quiet, peaceful spot halfway between Saranda and Ksamil. The rooms are nicely furnished and look out over both the sea and the lake.

From the guesthouse you get Butrinti lake on one side and the sea on the other, which makes the place feel special. The rooms are modern, new, and clean. There are mosquitoes, so remember to bring spray. The owners are lovely and friendly, with an Albanian warmth that touches you when you visit this special country.
