The room was simple but clean, and the overall atmosphere was neat. The receptionist was very friendly, although she spoke little or no English, and using Google Translator worked well enough. Restaurants are about a 12-15 minute walk away. There is a bar at the hotel, but no shops nearby. We only stayed one night.

After the hotel I’d booked turned me away because none of my four credit cards could be processed, I suddenly needed somewhere to stay very late at night. The welcome here was friendly and helpful, even at that hour. All four cards had worked extensively during my month-long trip, so the situation was unexpected.

The staff were very uneducated, and they stole your belongings.

It’s cheap, and that’s pretty much the whole story.

The stay was barely livable from the beginning, with no welcome, hair on the floor, and poor cleanliness. We found used slippers repaired with a piece of string, a used comb on the bathroom vanity, and a used bar of soap. There was no proper shower tray, so the bathroom flooded and water nearly reached the room. The stairs were very uncomfortable, and getting up them with my suitcase was difficult. As far as I’m concerned, the owner has no customer service skills. I’m surprised places like this are operating. Absolutely not recommended.
