Bicaj Hotel

The sheets were clean, although you should check them for stains, and the air conditioner did work, just not very powerfully. The furniture is old, the bathroom has no accessories, and there were stings. Breakfast was poor too. The man at reception was nice and helpful, but generally, avoid this place.

Our experience was terrible because of the hotel’s condition. We found bed bugs in room 506, and it seemed the hotel already knew about the problem. We were moved to another room, but that one didn’t even have a toilet seat. The man at reception was helpful, but that couldn’t make up for the situation. Stay away from room 506.

The surroundings were awful and run down, and the courtyard was filled with old, broken things. At check in, two young men were working at reception. I’m almost 60 and was traveling with my adult daughter, so we asked for help with our heavy luggage. One said he had back problems, while the other claimed he didn’t work at the hotel and had been drinking alcohol. That wasn’t true, since he was there as a receptionist the next morning. We were considering leaving for another hotel when he suddenly offered to carry the luggage. We stayed only because it was nearly 9 pm and we were exhausted.

Motorbikers should definitely consider this place, especially if you like a friendly atmosphere and almost sterile cleanliness. The city center is only about a 15 minute walk away. Finding the hotel is easy too, since the large banner across the street clearly points you to the destination.
