Hotel Luani Arte

The room decor was stylish, and I especially liked having two washbasins. It was a good place to stay, though the heating needs improvement in winter, and the sandals should be replaced with a pair more suitable for the cold.

The room and dining hall were both spacious, and the hotel has flamboyant decor. But it was very cold without carpet, and the slippers weren't suitable. The heater barely worked. At least the bed was comfortable and warm. It's the largest hotel in Albania.

We had a lovely one-night family stay. The food and service were great. Five stars.

My daughter was shaken and trembling after the receptionist entered her room without knocking. She came straight to my room, visibly upset. Her jewelry and other expensive belongings were inside, and the receptionist said she was checking the electrical breaker. I find that explanation hard to believe. When I confronted her, she insisted she had knocked, though she hadn't. We felt unsafe and suspicious about the staff's intentions. It was a serious invasion of privacy, and I can't stop wondering if she might have been trying to steal from my daughter. I reacted quickly, thankfully. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone concerned about privacy and security. Management needs to act so this doesn't happen again.
