Amber Hotel Albania

Amber Hotel was clean, peaceful, and had a very tidy private beach. The staff were kind and helpful, and we really enjoyed the food, drinks, and snacks. I loved our stay and would definitely recommend it! 🇦🇱

The peaceful setting and private beach made this hotel a great choice for a relaxing holiday. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the food was both delicious and varied, with enough choice for different tastes. The staff were especially kind and professional throughout my stay. I would strongly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, comfortable break.

The private beach was a big hit with the kids, while the quiet, slightly isolated setting gave us the relaxed family break we wanted. They could play freely in the sand, and we could enjoy the peace. The hotel also has live music every Saturday and activities for children each weekend. Food was one of the strongest parts of the stay. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets had a wide selection of local dishes, including well-cooked meat, fresh seafood, and plenty of local fruit. Drinks were unlimited, and the free ice cream, along with lots of snacks at 4 PM every day, was especially appreciated by the children. Our room and bathroom were spotless and well maintained, and the attentive staff made us feel at home. With the clean rooms, beach, sunshine, pool, and easygoing atmosphere, this was exactly the kind of stress-free getaway we wanted. We can't wait to come back next year.

The staff were the real strength of this hotel. Everyone was friendly, helpful, kind, and wonderful with children, and it was obvious that good people had been chosen. They did everything they could to make our stay more comfortable. The hotel itself was clean, and the rooms could be cleaned whenever requested, even daily. The food stayed varied and fresh during our 9 days, with cheese, vegetables, fish, seafood, beef, chicken, and fruit. The sandy beach was wide, fairly clean, and had bars and cafes. The location is quiet, around 1 hour and 10 minutes by car from Tirana Airport, but Spille is basically a small village with only a few hundred residents. That means less noise than Durrës, but also very little infrastructure beyond the hotel and a beach bar. Spille is 1.5 km away and has a few basic shops plus one small pharmacy kiosk. There is no baby food or formula choice, and you should bring medication with you too. The grounds are small, and the children's playground is modest and outside. We really missed an air-conditioned children's room during hot lunchtime hours when taking a child to the beach was difficult. Without the staff, I would honestly rate the hotel only 3 stars.
