Hotel Ferrari

It’s easy to find, and the location is great. Staff service is great too, and prices are affordable even when it’s crowded for fiestas or international matches. Sometimes there’s no water or something isn’t working, though.

The owner even drove me to the airport when I left. That kind of hospitality says a lot. My week at Ferrari Hotel Tirana felt like being at home, and I’ll recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to Ms Elda for making it such an enjoyable, memorable trip. She speaks English fluently and was a wonderful host. I had an extra need for frequent cups of tea at odd hours, including early morning and the middle of the night, and Elda took care of it. The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable, offered the breakfast items I wanted, and helped with local cabs. They were polite and kept me informed about the city throughout my stay. The hotel is in a good location, the rooms were very clean, and the service was good value for money. I was there for a writing assignment and a conference at local Beder University College, and also made a few new friends in the city. It was my first trip to Albania, and my first day started badly: the hotel I’d booked and had confirmed online refused to give me a room, blaming an “internet problem” and other things. I had to find somewhere nearby late in the evening, and found Ferrari Hotel through the Expedia app. I’m very glad I moved there.

I wouldn’t trust the hotel and wouldn’t stay there again when I’m next in Tirana. The place itself wasn’t bad when I stayed a few years ago: it was clean, the staff were polite, and the location was great. But someone stole my very expensive perfume from my room, and that ruined everything positive about the stay.

I had a terrible stay here. The staff behaved very badly toward tourists and visitors, and the whole experience was deeply disappointing. Please save your money and stay somewhere else.
