We ended up here because our flight was cancelled, and the stay was awful. Four of us were given a double bed and a single bed. The hotel was dirty and seemed untouched for years. Loose carpets on the stairs were a trip hazard, and the carpets in the room and throughout the hotel were filthy. There was damp on the walls and ceilings, and dirt in the bathroom. Our window was cracked with a hole in it, looking out onto a roof covered in car parts from a scrap yard. Dead insects were also in the window. The air conditioning didn't work, so we were very hot and got no sleep. The owner should be ashamed; this hotel brings shame to Albania.

The furniture is striking and quite baroque, which makes this an interesting place. Unfortunately, the shower flooded the small bathroom. We didn't get a chance to try the food, but the staff were very kind. I was even able to get a coffee at 3:30 a.m. before heading to the airport.

We liked the authentic look, but the rooms were stuffy and dusty. They gave us a smaller room than the one we had picked out online. The duvet cover was coming apart, and the room lamps weren't adequate.

The hotel is near the airport and looks like a medieval castle, replicated down to the details. Service is excellent, and there's a good restaurant. A must-do hotel.

Hotel Iliada 🏰 has a lovely traditional feel, with great service and food. The pizza is especially delicious, definitely worth trying 🍕🤤👌
