It’s clean, with a great view where you can watch planes take off and land. The terminal is less than a 10-minute walk away. The rooms have both USB ports and regular outlets, so there’s no need to worry if you forgot your charger or European adapter.

For 95 Euros, I was disappointed. The room had harsh, very bright lighting and bare walls, and there was no coffee or tea maker. It feels like a Days Inn, but with less to offer, and it’s way overpriced for what you get in Albania. The guy working downstairs was really nice, but seemed badly overworked. On the plus side, the hotel is a 12-minute walk from the airport, which I liked. The bed was okay, the room wasn’t dirty, and the shower was fair.

Verzaci Hotel was a good find before a very early flight. Tirana Airport is only a 10-minute walk away, though that’s not easy with lots of luggage. The gentlemen on staff were accommodating and helped arrange transport at 5 am. The night staff member was especially kind. There are also chickens at the back of the building, a fun little extra.
