I booked through Booking.com and showed the price I was meant to pay, but he showed me the commission they pay and tried to charge that to us. I refused and left. I can read English, and I know what I'm talking about after using Booking.com more than a thousand times around the world. I agreed to the €5 tax, but not the €9 admin fee. That fee has nothing to do with the customer. Don't make things up or try to make yourself look better when we came there to stay.

Staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast had lots of choices and was great. The shower was incredible and the bed comfortable. We stayed one night after arriving in Albania. The air conditioning didn't get as cool as we would have liked, though it wasn't a problem.

For £50 a night, I can't complain. It's a clean, modern hotel in a lively neighborhood, about ten minutes from the airport. Our family room was spacious and had a balcony, and the staff were courteous, responsive, and spoke excellent English. There's a bar upstairs but no restaurant, though plenty of inexpensive food is nearby. Parking is on the street and may be hard to find during the day. Breakfast was a limited cold spread served at a few tables in reception.

We found parking on the street in front of the hotel. The rooms are modern, with a very large shower, and it felt like a high-quality place. A staff member helped and served us at 4 a.m., and there was breakfast and coffee waiting in the morning.
