Chic Boutique Hotel Vlore

The restaurant turned out to be a hidden gem. We had dinner there on three of our four evenings, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried other places for lunch, but nothing came close to the taste and quality here. The terrace was lovely for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, and my daughter loved the fresh orange juice, especially the one Ana made. She really makes the best orange juice in Vlora! We spent several days at CHIC Boutique Hotel & Spa, right in the heart of Vlora, and everything was easy to reach. The hotel is elegant and modern, and the service was outstanding. Ana and the reception team were welcoming and full of energy, and the gentlemen working there were friendly and easy to talk to. It felt like home.

The bill was the one thing that arrived quickly. My breakfast was a terrible experience. The fried eggs were cold, tasteless, soaked in oil, and not crispy underneath. I asked for cheese on top, but it came on the side. I requested salt and black pepper from two staff members, but they only arrived after I’d finished eating. The cappuccino was cold too, and the bread came after the meal. There weren’t even napkins on the table. I don’t recommend this place for breakfast at all.

We could order fresh food there, and I especially liked the fish and the traditional food in the morning. The service was great, the view was amazing, and the rooms were clean and comfortable for our whole family. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

The room itself was spacious and impressive, with a beautiful sea view. In its best condition, it could easily earn four or five stars, but problems around the hotel brought the experience down. On checkout morning, after I’d eaten, I went to get a pastry and a staff member abruptly took my plate, saying only “no, no, no.” Another staff member gave me a fresh plate, but by then I was bewildered and had lost my appetite. The TV also turned itself on at random during the night. Glasses and spoons were rinsed and put back instead of replaced, and the air conditioning stopped working one day until I went to reception to get it switched back on. The spa hadn’t been cleaned up when a previous guest left a mess. Most of the staff seemed disengaged, and breakfast was disappointing, especially the weak coffee. The room was fantastic, but the overall experience didn’t match it.
