Elmar Hotel

The hotel is well located, and the guys at reception were polite and very kind. But the room was extremely cold, with high walls, no spare blankets, and the air conditioning switched off. We have a six-month-old baby who caught a cold. The bathroom was too cold to shower in, and there weren’t any slippers either. It wasn’t worth the price.

The hotel was better than I expected after reading some reviews. Our room looked just like the photos on Booking and had a nice sea view. It was recently renovated and cleaned well every day, though there were a few small things that needed fixing. Since our windows faced a busy street, we sometimes heard cars and the nearby restaurant. We told reception about a window issue when we arrived, but it wasn’t fixed. I think with the window closed, you wouldn’t hear anything. Reception staff were very nice and polite, apart from that situation. Breakfast was the same every day, but it was okay for a week, with options like eggs, milk, yogurt, and pancakes. The private beach was free, and towels were available at reception. They weren’t very new, but they were fresh and clean. Overall, I think the hotel is quite good, and the price isn’t too high for the services and standard.

When one of our three children got sick and needed to stay with us, the host was incredibly accommodating. They didn’t make a fuss and even offered extra sheets and pillows. The women at the restaurant were kind and friendly, and brought our child fruit and yogurt to help them feel better. My wife and I had a lovely three-night stay while our other children stayed with their cousins in Vlore. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
