Haris Hotel

We spent hours trying to find somewhere else to stay, but during peak season everything nearby was booked or far beyond our budget. That stress started when we arrived and learned Harris Hotel had canceled our two-room reservation without telling us or giving any explanation. When I booked, both rooms were clearly marked AVAILABLE, and everything seemed settled. We were left with nowhere to stay, and the lack of communication and careless handling of the booking was unacceptable. I wouldn’t trust them with a future reservation, particularly during a busy travel period.

The rooms were good, but the staff really stood out. Ari made everything better. I’d recommend it.

We arrived to a cold, rude response: “what can I do” and “I don’t know why you were not notified about the cancellation”. Our one-night booking had been canceled without warning. Apparently they cancel bookings for just one night, but that rule or condition wasn’t shown anywhere. They offered no help and left us stranded, even though the cancellation was their fault. Such a petty attitude.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, we had booked a day tour. The receptionist was very unfriendly, and the whole thing felt like a tourist trap. We agreed to a group boat trip for €35 each, already quite high by Albanian standards, with drinks and snacks included. There were seven of us and no one else joined, so it ended up being private. But we got no drinks or snacks. They just took us to an island and back, then charged €350 for a private tour. When we refused to pay more than agreed, he shouted at us and threatened to call the police.
