Hotel Aliko

The woman at the front desk was the real standout. She was full of energy and enthusiasm about Vlore, and gave me really great recommendations. The value was great, though you do get what you pay for. The bed was passable but not good, the shower was barely hot and its door wouldn’t close. At least the room was clean. Breakfast was very mediocre too.

The best part is that it’s family run, and everyone working there is incredibly friendly. They even have pet tortoises :) The rooms were large and comfortable, and breakfast was really good. The terrace has a fabulous view. It’s a really great affordable hotel in southern Vlorë, just a 2 minute walk from the cliffside, where you can spend the day at one of the gorgeous hotel beach clubs for a fee.

The staff were the highlight of our one night stay while passing through Vlore, so lovely and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely too. The rooms were very large, clean and spacious, though the bed was too soft for my taste. When you arrive, have a look outside reception for the little tortoises in the garden.

Breakfast was fresh and had plenty of choices, and the hotel sits somewhere peaceful but still convenient. My room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and had a lovely view. The whole place was clearly well cared for. From arrival to departure, the staff were warm and professional, and I felt welcome throughout. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, but Hotel Aliko really stands out for its cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. I’d happily come back.
