Miramare Apartments

The food was lovely, but one waiter’s attitude toward customers and other staff was vile and unpleasant. I felt very uncomfortable being served by him and watching the way he spoke to others. Such a shame, because everything else was perfect.

I had dinner alone at Miramare restaurant, and getting a food menu took far too much back and forth. One waiter asked if I wanted dinner somewhere, said I could have a pizza, and brought a cocktail menu. I then had to ask specifically for food, and was handed only a pizza menu. Eventually, another staff member who didn’t seem local brought the full menu. The whole thing made dinner unnecessarily long and frustrating. It left me wondering how some staff are hired and whether the manager or owner knows what’s going on. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it. 😔

The views are incredible and the place is immaculate. I came with my twin brother and family, and Donna made our stay exceptional. Already looking forward to coming back next year.

We booked a room with a private pool and full sea view, but got one facing a nearby building with almost no sea view. Staff refused to fix the mistake, move us, or compensate us. On the second day, a ceiling light fixture fell and shattered above the bed while water started pouring from the ceiling. We were lucky not to be hurt. Nobody asked if we were okay or looked into what caused it. Instead, we were moved to a worse, cheaper room without any compensation. Even worse, they suggested we return to the original room after it had been “cleaned,” without checking the cause of the collapse or water leak. That was a clear safety hazard. The management was shockingly indifferent and unaccountable. This was an overpriced, negligent, and dangerous stay, and booking here is a serious risk.
