Sasso Hotel

The owner was super friendly and even helped us find a restaurant that was open on New Year's Day, when everything else seemed closed. That personal touch, the central location, and the low price made this a great-value stay. The room was basic but perfectly adequate for the price. Breakfast was simple but fine. Parking was tricky to access, and the hotel isn't fully accessible because you have to climb stairs before reaching the elevator. Highly recommended for the hospitality and value.

Sitting outside on the rooftop was really scenic, and Andy, the bartender, made fresh, delicious drinks. By fresh, I mean he actually picked mint from a mint plant, which I loved. The breakfast staff greeted and treated us and the other guests with lots of hospitality, though I didn't catch their names. The hotel is new but already very well maintained and super clean. All the staff were welcoming, and we didn't feel a language barrier like we did in other places. Alvaro kindly showed us around the hotel and suggested places nearby, and Lona was wonderful, responsive, and helpful. We had a very good stay at sasso hotel.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of choice including meats, fruit, cereal, and cheeses. The room was spotless, the staff were warm and helpful, and the location was right in the center.

The one thing that bothered us was the breakfast music. At 9 AM it was loud enough to feel like a nightclub, and we’d much rather stay somewhere that doesn’t play music at that volume. Aside from that, the room was comfortable, clean, and nicely designed. Breakfast itself was fresh and tasty, with fruit and bread, and the staff were kind. The receptionists were especially helpful and spoke excellent English.
