The quiet location worked really well for us. It isn't right in the city center, but getting to the promenade was easy, and we liked being away from the crowds. We’d love to return in summer. We went to Sol Boutique Hotel in Vlorë in February, during the off-season, and were welcomed warmly from the start. The staff were kind and attentive, and even made special breakfast dishes for us. The spa, salt room, and whole jacuzzi area were kept in excellent shape, while the gym had everything we needed for a good workout. We had our own jacuzzi in the room, which was especially lovely with the rain outside. We could turn the TV toward us and watch a movie while soaking, a memorable touch. It was probably the best hotel stay we’ve ever had.

After that long, stressful flight across the Atlantic, arriving at Sol Boutique Hotel felt like such a relief. I spent three nights there in February, and it was relaxing every time I came back at the end of the day. I’d recommend this peaceful little place whether you’re in town for work or for fun. The room had a balcony facing the sea, with the Adriatic Sea outside and Vlorë’s lights shining on the water at night. The sunsets were breathtaking, and I also took a photo of a rainy sunrise. Inside, there was a long counter made from local natural stone. I took a picture, but it didn’t capture how beautiful it was. The room itself was minimalist and luxurious, with a roomy, comfortable bed, a stone and glass shower, a plush robe, espresso, and a chaise longue. All the details helped me unwind as soon as I walked in. Maybe I’ll try a mountain view room next time. The restaurant served some of the best Albanian food I had on the trip. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, there were plenty of vegetarian choices, and our waiter matched the wine to the food perfectly. Try the tres leche cake. Everyone made me feel welcome, from the young man at reception to the restaurant wait staff. They were friendly, kind, efficient, and attentive. They also spoke perfect English, which spared me from trying out my remedial Albanian. I fell in love with Albania on this short visit, and Sol Boutique Hotel won me over too. I’ll definitely stay there again when I return.

Alket in the restaurant deserves a special thank you. He was attentive and caring, always checking that we had what we needed, and greeted us with a warm smile. He made our six day stay even more memorable. The hotel was beautiful, modern, spotless, and well maintained, with wonderful service throughout. We felt welcome and valued, and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Vlore. We’ll definitely be back! ☺️

The warm welcome at Sol Hotel in Vlore started at reception, where a friendly smile made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. The staff stayed cheerful and attentive throughout, making the place feel welcoming and each guest feel special. If you want hospitality that stands out, the reception team is wonderful. Highly recommended!

The reception staff, especially the women there, were really friendly. I stayed in late November during the off-season, and this has been my most satisfying hotel experience in the area so far, where so many hotels are being built. Booking an upper-floor suite was worth it for the great view. The beach takes a bit of walking, but the area around the tunnel is close enough and, to me, the nicest place to relax around Vlora. The restaurant was okay, though not great. The spa could use some thought. I chose this place off-season because it has a sauna, and the sauna itself was quite nice, but there was no water provided, the shower afterward wouldn't get cold, and there was nowhere to hang a towel or bathrobe. There also wasn't a spot to sit or lie down between sauna rounds. On top of that, gym noise carried in loudly, so it wasn't very relaxing, haha.
