The room was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Service was excellent across reception, breakfast, and the help staff. A real gem in the Ionian sea. I'll definitely come back.

We stayed as Melia Platinum members expecting a true luxury 5 star experience, but the stay fell short in service, housekeeping, room function, and hospitality. At check-out, nobody asked for feedback and the interaction felt brief and impersonal. Noise was another problem, construction during the day and heavy traffic at night came through closed windows and disrupted sleep. The advertised wellness and spa areas seemed unfinished or under construction. The first reception was positive, with a warm welcome and an upgrade to a junior suite. The balcony view was a highlight, though some online pictures seem misleading because parts of the beach and sea shown belong to the neighboring hotel in front. The hotel's own beach bar is far away, inconsistently open, and lacks proper facilities like sunbeds or a dedicated swimming and sunbathing area. The junior suite felt unfinished for a premium room. The bed was queen sized rather than king, the couch had no cover and was uncomfortable, and there was no proper place to eat in the room, which made room service impractical. Eating on the balcony was affected by road dust, cigarette smoke from neighboring balconies, and little privacy. The wardrobe was impractical too. Housekeeping disappointed us after the first night: amenities weren't refilled, towels weren't replaced, bathroom stains remained, and pillow covers weren't changed. Food and beverage service was especially frustrating. A male staff member who handled welcome drinks and room service was involved in repeated problems. When we asked for alcohol-free prosecco, he was dismissive and mocking. He brought pumpkin soup without salt. Salt and pepper took around 30 minutes to arrive, and the soup was cold by then. There was no apology or follow-up. He also insisted on cash when we asked to pay by card, then reacted unprofessionally when we declined. The hotel doesn't accept American Express, which seems unexpected for an international Melia-affiliated property. Breakfast service was inconsistent. One woman seemed to work both reception and oversee breakfast. We asked for hot chocolate once, and were told a colleague would handle it because of language issues. After repeated requests over two mornings and long waits, we were only later told it cost extra. That should have been made clear upfront.

We had a really nice stay. The room had an excellent sea view, and the hotel was well located on the waterfront. The service was very professional. Paloma arranged our stay and made it very pleasant.

A relaxed rooftop place with lovely views across Vlorë and the sea. Nice for an afternoon coffee or a cocktail while the sun goes down. The staff are friendly, and it’s worth a visit.
