It’s a lovely old house with a grandma’s-home feel. You get a nice view of the canon, and can fall asleep peacefully to the river below. The owner takes care to keep guests warm and comfortable, and helps with travel plans too. You can tell her which minibus you’re taking to the nearby town, and ask her to call the driver to have them drop you at the guesthouse.

The rooms have a vintage feel and an amazing view, and the food is just as lovely. It’s a wonderful place for walks or trips to the monasteries. The host warmly welcomes you into her own home.

Irene was such a charming host, and both breakfast and dinner were lovely. We had a fantastic stay in this cozy, quirky place, especially the wooden cabin living room.

I first planned on one night, then booked two, and eventually extended because I couldn’t bring myself to leave. The kitchen is always available to cook for you, and the food is reliably good and affordable. Irina went out of her way to make things easy. Without a car, the location would’ve been inconvenient, but she arranged cheap taxis wherever I wanted to go and suggested lots of local activities. She even took me up into the mountains one day to show me her local chapel. I’ll remember this trip, and really hope to return with my family.

My room looked out over the river, and I loved staying here. The hostess was great and the atmosphere felt so welcoming.
