The meals were the highlight for me, generous and home cooked with local ingredients, plus fresh bread and a nice red wine included. They even served Armenian coffee or tea with preserved fruit and chocolates when we arrived and throughout the day. The room was small but comfortable, with a good hot shower, and the terrace was lovely for relaxing any time. Tucked into the forest off the main road, it was quiet at night. Laundry was included too. I’d already moved on and was wishing I could come back.

We spent five unforgettable days here with my family, and by the time we left we were already promising to return. Dilbo House guesthouse sits among both crowded houses and thick forest, which made for a lovely setting. Each morning started with a varied, tasty breakfast. And the hostess Lusiney’s delicious coffee and warm, freshly baked gata were a wonderful welcome to our vacation.
