Dilijan Family House

The apartment had clean white linens, a TV with lots of channels, plenty of dishes, and we could switch on the heating in September when nights got cold. There’s also a supermarket nearby. Still, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. Its actual condition was quite different from the photos, and it needs at least some cosmetic renovation. The walls, ceiling and floor had holes, bubbles and dirt; the curtains and lampshades were dirty too. There were lots of insects. The ceilings are very high, so getting them out of the corners may be difficult, although about five in the bathroom were easy to reach and clean up. The courtyard was neglected, and though there was a grill, there was no lighting. Cameras pointed straight at us in the courtyard made it uncomfortable to feel watched all the time. The shower drain clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a while, and dirty water sat there for ages. I know the price is lower than what’s listed around town, but it would have been better if the owner had shown the actual photos from the start. I’d think twice before staying somewhere like this again.
