La Casa Dilijan Hostel

The toilets were extremely dirty, the kitchen wasn’t clean, and in the four days I stayed, the floor was never mopped. The sheets didn’t properly cover the mattresses, and the table was there for Vaha, the Chechenian guy working at the place, instead of having a shared area. He did nothing all day to clean or maintain it. The owner from Sevan should consider whether Vaha is right for this place. It’s a simple, cheap stay with nothing special, but not bad otherwise. It could have scored 9/10, but the poor maintenance and lack of basic comfort bring it down to 6/10.

I called La Casa Dilijan after having a problem at another hostel, and they took me in for three nights. Vhaka was very friendly, and check-in was easy. The place was clean, the bed comfortable, and both the room and balcony had a nice view. Even though it’s beside a main road, I couldn’t hear anything inside :). Everything was great, definitely recommend it. Thank you so much!

The second floor is available, while the first is still being built, so there were some disturbances. It’s newly constructed, modern, and stylish, and the service was fine. There’s just one shower, so you have to be patient. The balcony has a nice green view.
