Mimino Guesthouse

We all felt at home thanks to the waitress, who was such an awesome woman. The food was really good and cooked well, despite what the other reviews below say. Service was fast too. We kept wondering how they managed to prepare everything so quickly and so well. We had a nice experience at this restaurant.

There's plenty to choose from and the food is good. The atmosphere is pleasant, though service could be better: our main dish arrived about 15 minutes before the side dish.

Tasty food and beer at friendly prices, with a friendly feel. I liked this local place much more than the other, more pretentious spots aimed at tourists.

Our introduction to the people of Armenia began, unfortunately, with being cheated at this place. The bill was inflated to about twice the right amount. We ordered two servings of lamb kebab but got one serving of over-dried pork instead, and the meat in the soup was rubbery. We waited an hour and a half instead of the stated 30-40 minutes. Travelers should pass this place by if they want to avoid losing money, nerves, and time. The hospitable Armenian people should be ashamed of such sorry entrepreneurs.
