Resort Motives Inn Dilijan

We stayed for one night with family and had a good experience overall. The rooms and backyard were neat and clean, service was good, and the kitchen had all the utensils a small family needs for cooking. If you're looking to get away from busy life and spend quality time together in a home-away-from-home kind of place, this is a good option. I'd say 7/10. The main problems were the water heaters, which didn't work as expected. The water would be mildly or moderately hot, then suddenly cold. There's only one bathroom and it's very small. The downstairs powder room also had a poor water heater. Breakfast could have more choices. Getting luggage to the room was difficult too: the interlocking blocks have holes in the middle, and we carried our heavy bags to avoid breaking the wheels. They didn't have a trolley.

A great spot for a group or family, with friendly staff who try hard to make the stay pleasant. The view was amazing, and the grounds worked well for spending time with friends or family. Kids can enjoy the nice playground, and there's a restaurant on site where you can order food and drinks. We liked the evening show and especially the live music at breakfast. Rooms are small but have what you need. Cleaning was okay, not perfect, but good enough for a place surrounded by nature. It may be a little quiet for solo travelers, but felt cozy and fun as a group retreat. One small but important suggestion: put insect screens on the doors and windows. There weren't any, and bugs flew in as soon as we opened the door, especially in the evening.

The family hospitality and peaceful feel made this a memorable escape, and we'll definitely come back. The two-story cottages were charming, spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful design that made them feel like a home away from home. Epicure was a highlight too: fresh, delicious food, beautifully presented at both breakfast and dinner. A great place for families looking for a relaxing getaway.

The forest and mountain views are beautiful, and the whole resort feels like a cozy place to unwind in nature. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and everything is really clean. I especially loved sitting around the campfire in the evening with a drink, guitar, and good music. Definitely coming back!
