The beds were clean, comfortable, and warm, and the shared bathrooms were spotless with hot water. There’s also a communal kitchen and free laundry. But it was Marietta's warmth that made the stay so special: she greeted us with a hug and cake and tea, showed us how to cook dolmas, and served us the biggest, best dinner we had in Armenia, followed by a delicious breakfast. We only wished we’d stayed longer. Ask ahead about dinner. It’s homemade or grown in her garden, and the portions are huge. Thank you for such a wonderful stay ❤️

Marietta's first hug lifted my spirits after a rough mini bus ride there. I’d booked because people said she gave great hugs, and they were right. There were a couple of other people around, and we had lovely conversations. She made excellent breakfasts and washed my clothes for free. Her husband drives the tours she offers. Marietta has a heart of gold. She also had us try her wine and goji berries from the garden.

After a long day, coming to Marietta's place felt like coming home. Her food is amazing, and she has a huge heart. She was the best person we met in Armenia. I hope I get to see her again someday.

The accommodation was comfortable, and there’s a kitchen guests can use. Still, I’d recommend asking for the traditional dinner. Marietta is a delightful host, warm and generous from the moment we arrived, and her cooking is incredible. Her food and drink are organic, homegrown, and homemade. We stayed one night and had a wonderful experience. This is one of the best homestays, B&Bs, or guesthouses we’ve stayed at, so definitely book here.

We’ve traveled all over the world, and I think this was the best homestay, B&B, or guesthouse we’ve stayed in. The facilities were comfortable and very good, and Marietta, the owner and host, is a delight. Her generous breakfast was delicious. Ask for a traditional dinner at least once. All her food and drink is organic, homegrown, and homemade, served in her beautiful grapevine garden. My wife and I had a wonderful stay.
