NNN Guest House

The NNN guest house is right on the Legends Trail from Goris to Kapan, so it's a great base if you're hiking it. The view from the balcony over the medieval cave dwellings is lovely, especially in the morning when the sun comes up. Inside, everything was immaculately clean, from the sheets and towels to the kitchen and bathroom. There's a spacious communal kitchen and plenty of places to sit. It was my favourite guest house during my three-week holiday in Armenia, and such good value. The walk to the centre takes about 15/20 min, or the host can arrange a taxi for 600 dram. They also organised our taxi to the bus station. The host is very welcoming and does what they can to make your stay pleasant. The entrance was a little hard to identify at first, so a sign out front would help.

The owners are super kind and helpful, and the terrace has a great view. There's a huge shared space, a well-equipped kitchen and a decent bathroom and shower. The rooms don't have outside-facing windows, which is a small downside. It's about a 20min walk to the centrum. I'd come back.

Mountain views from the kitchen and living room, plus fruit trees outside the window. It's a large, quiet, clean and warm guesthouse, with the feel of being at grandma's dacha.
