Hotel Aero

I booked one night at the hotel, but they charged 14,000 rubles for two, and I also paid 2,000 rubles for a taxi. They said they would take me to the airport, which is very close, but never did. When I asked for a refund for the extra night, I got a lot of excuses, including “We don’t know” and the owner saying, “I can’t give you money out of my own pocket.” I had paid for breakfast too, and wouldn’t recommend it. In the room, the toilet leaked, there was no hot water, the faucet was broken, and the floors were dirty. The staff was rude, and the owner didn’t seem able to keep things under control. I’m giving it one star, and even that feels undeserved.

The food was tasty and the servings were generous. It had a homely feel, and both the owners and staff were very polite. I visited a month ago and would stay there again if I return to Armenia.

The owners were lovely, hospitable men. They met us and drove us to the airport, which was perfect for an overnight stop between flights. A small, clean hotel with a homey feel, and we had no complaints.
