Garden Inn Resort Sevan

We arrived without planning ahead and were glad we did. The staff were friendly and spoke English really well. It’s a small, clean resort right beside sevan lake, with big, new rooms and comfortable beds.

The restaurant was delicious, and adding breakfast was worth it. From the Inn, you can walk down to the beach or head up to Stevanavank. Everyone on staff was so friendly and helped us with our Armenglish. Thanks for having us, we really enjoyed staying at the Garden Inn and would come back.

The staff were kind and the food was good, but I wouldn’t make another trip here. The hotel is trying hard to improve, with a lot of construction underway, and the pool could be really nice in summer. It’s not quite a “resort.” Our room was spacious and clean, but there was plenty missing: no microwave, no coffee or tea, and the TV didn’t work. We left a day early because of the remote location and a long power outage, neither of which was the hotel’s fault. We understood we wouldn’t get the room cost back, but were disappointed that the manager also wouldn’t refund the second day’s breakfast and dog fee when we wouldn’t be using either.

So much greenery, with trees all over, and the resort’s theme is amazing. The pool was hated. There was plenty of privacy from the surrounding neighborhood. My son and I had our best stay in Armenia. Everyone was humble and polite, always smiling, and the service was incredible. They were all so helpful. We made the best choice.
