The guest house is around 2 km from the lake, an easy walk, and its country house feel makes for a lovely setting. It was easy to spot from the street, with a sign visible from about 50 metres away. Norik is a gentleman, and the place reflects his good taste in interiors. The floors, wardrobe, stairs and kitchen were all clean, well kept and hygienic. Our room had a huge balcony with a table and chairs, where we could work or have dinner while looking at the distant mountains. I rarely review people's properties, but I was looking forward to writing about this one. I'd highly recommend staying here and making some good memories.

We stayed at Norik’s Guest House on Saturday night, and the warm send-off is something we'll remember. When we checked out, Norik smiled and said, “Good luck and God bless you.” He was welcoming and helpful throughout, making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. He doesn't speak English, but Google Translate worked smoothly and made it easy to communicate. Our room was clean and cozy, with a homely feel that was much more personal than a typical hotel.

Norik and his wife were happy to help with transport or any other problems, and all the facilities were available. We stayed in winter, when it was freezing outside, but the house was warm and the welcome was just as warm. It's an old-style house, lovely and quiet, and it felt like staying with grandparents. A friendly guesthouse like this suited us really well.

It's about a 10-minute walk from the main high street. The owner was incredibly welcoming, upgraded us at no extra charge from a double room to a compact apartment with two double beds and a full kitchen, and even offered to drive us to a café.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and there was a shared kitchen. Security was good, and the host was friendly and attentive. The price was good too.
