Lalaner Hotel

I booked through T Bank for four adults and needed two rooms, but ended up reserving one room for all four. The booking was non-refundable. I contacted T Bank support right away and asked them to get in touch with the property about returning the payment so we could book two rooms instead. They refused. Two weeks later, I tried asking the hotel directly, hoping management would be understanding. We fly to Armenia every year, the location is very convenient for us, and we would stay with them as a family in the future. But they said the T Bank payment was still in transit and that the rate did not allow a refund. It isn’t clear when booking whether you’re reserving one room or two. I think the hotel could have made an exception and returned the money. It was about 6,000 rubles. Apparently, some of their profit comes from people making mistakes.

August 10, 2025. I came from Japan, and it happened to be the day of the Armenian Festival. Luckily, it wasn’t crowded. The hotel was in a great location, the staff were kind, and my room was clean. I was very satisfied, especially with breakfast included. Van Tavern nearby is a good place too, and I recommend it if you visit Sisian.

Everything was good. We booked a family room, but the rooms didn’t get warm enough.

It was hard to find the front door because the building only says “Restaurant.” The reception was tricky to locate too, on the second floor with no signs. The hotel was clean, the rooms comfortable, and the service friendly. Breakfast was modest, though, and we had to wait a long time for the food.
