This was one of the best stays of my trip to Armenia. My room was clean and had what I needed, including a heater and hot water. There wasn’t much extra, but it was perfectly enough. The host and her family were kind and very helpful, and I especially loved the homemade food. A nice place to stay in Tatev.

The grandfather from the host family joined us while we were eating and playing his flute. It became one of my favorite memories from our trip to Armenia. We’d been picked up in a very cool old Soviet truck, then taken on a tour of the nearby mountains by the family. Their restaurant is a few minutes from the hotel, and the homemade food was great. We also had wine and vodka. Watch out, the vodka is 70%! Four of us only found out after finishing a bottle, and I was feeling the effects the next morning. The hotel is new, very clean, and good for its category. An amazing place and host family, absolutely recommend it.

The balcony has a beautiful view, and the food was great. Everyone was kind, especially Maro, who speaks English. Our room was clean, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the monastery. We loved staying here and highly recommend it!
