The valley views from the windows were gorgeous, and the room stayed warm even in the coldest winter. The setting has a simple, cozy village feel. We had delicious dinners cooked to order, and the waitress/room keeper was hospitable. One thing bothered me, though: whenever we paid for a meal, she said she had no change, so we had to round up, even though we'd tipped and left a little extra on earlier meals. I'd bring exact change.

We picked a quiet-season weekend and were lucky to get a 30% discount, so the stay was easy on our budget. The place was cozy, warm, and clean, with a nice design inside and out. Everything worked, including the hot water, and we had no problems. Recommended!

The village-house style runs across the grounds, with residences, a cafe, restaurant, gazebos, and a spot for evening bonfires. There’s a kids' playroom, a shared guest kitchen, and a couple of exercise machines too. Food was hearty and tasty, though the dishes started repeating after a couple of days. Rooms are cozy and bright, with the necessary amenities, and the staff are lovely and ready to help. It’s about 1 km from Tsakhkadzor center, roughly a 10-15 minute walk, or you can take a taxi. I’m not much for outdoor activities, but I still went into the center for a walk, a cafe, and a cable car ride. The quiet atmosphere suited me: good for working without distractions or just unwinding, sleeping well, and taking a break from routine. Wi-Fi worked pretty well around the property. You can watch movies in a gazebo in the evening if you have a tablet or laptop, just dress warmly because it gets cold. The main drawback was having to remind staff to clean the room or replace hygiene supplies.

The food was awesome, the hotel was spotless, and the staff were amazing. Really recommend it.
